Most Important environmental issue

The most important environmental issue of the day is Fracking. This is the most important because fracking is destroying people water and killing animals humans and destroying life stock. People are being forced to move out of there homes because of fracking. There are movies that are already out out about fracking. People in court trying to get there land back and water. Fracking should be talked more to the public and should take this to the White House so they can do something about this.

Fracking and Coal

What is fracking?  “Fracking is a drilling technique which involves injecting toxic chemicals, sand, and millions of gallons of water under high pressure directly into the ground to release natural gas in shale deposits. This mixture of toxins and sediment, along with any natural gas released, can leak to the surface and enter rivers and groundwater in the process.” Fracking is it worse than what I think? Yes, in the documentary GASLAND filmed by Josh Fox the fracking company asked to lease his property so they can drill. Fracking is destroying people’s water system and are killing millions of people and animals. The water can light up on fire because of the gas that comes out with it. Because water is being contaminated people are feeding it to their animals and children. People who are affect by this are low-income people and farmers. They would try to buy the land and tell the people everything is going to be ok. After a few weeks you can see changes in the water like color change, smell, and taste. Families are forced to move or buy water off a store because of contamination. They may be doing this in your backyard do you research.

Coal is used everywhere and accounts for 45% of the worlds electricity.  Coal is acquired by blowing up sides or the top of the mountains and taking it from the base. This can destroy wild life homes and the beauty of the mountain. When coal is burned is produces clouds that has deadly smoke. The deadly smoke has carbon dioxide which pullets the earth and destroys the ozone layer.

Fracking is worse than coal because more people and animals are affect by the water and we can’t do anything about it. Coal is bad to but fracking is everywhere and who knows they can be in your backyard contaminating your water when you don’t even know it.

Nuclear vs Domestic Oil and Foreign Oil

Two of the worst ways to power the planet are Nuclear and oil. Nuclear is extremely dangerous and toxic to humans and bad for the environment. Radiation can run out the plant and hit humans and can cause vomiting, and white blood cells. Long periods of exposure can cause hair loss nervous problems and even coma, which can lead to death. Cleaning can take many years. Nuclear energy accounts to nearly a third of the world’s energy.

March 13, 2003 United States had an argument between Iraq. President Bush sent troop to Iraq to provide security. United States tells everybody is because of weapons of mass destruction, but the real reason is because of domestic oil and foreign oil. In the United Stated we distribute 19 million barrels of oil per day all around the US. That is a lot of oil and throw out the years scientist predict we will run out of oil. Oil is one of the most dangerous resources, but the best on because we us it every day driving cars. Oil accidents happen way to often and should be another way to collect oil. Oil is very toxic but the chemicals they use are 4 times more toxic. Corexit is one of the worst chemicals they use for oil. Chemicals are so bad people who help cleaned up the oil spill are dead Bp oil and Exxon mobile spill are two of the may major accidents that happen in the recent year that destroyed ocean life. It is destroying the bays, coral reefs and don’t allow people to access the area. The toxicants can kill people and the oil rusts the bottom of the boats. Fishermen have to stop fishing and some even lose their job or companies. Oil in my opinion is the far worse for the environment than anything else.

Global Warming man made or all a myth.

In the past few years more and more of the weather is changing. Every new year that passes there is a new record that is broken. Not the good ones either. 2012 had recorded braking heat temperature and cause the most destruction. Hurricanes or tornadoes or even heat waves have caused many deaths in the United States and every year they rise higher. Is global warming man-made or just a myth? According to The Great Global Warming Swindle "They have identified five reasons why man-made production of carbon dioxide cannot cause global warming. They believe that climate change is an entirely natural process." Its true the weather is always changing. In 2012 you see more hurricanes hitting the New England. "The promoters have essentially declared that man-made climate change will cause many bad weather events to happen. And since bad weather events always happen, there is no shortage of 'proof' of their predictions." What they saying is that its just the earth on its time of the year and it happens all the time. I believe we are cause these changes by destroying the environment. Oil spills in the ocean, fracking, coal burning and nuclear power plants.
